I have to say, I consider myself relatively lucky when it comes to my breastfeeding journey with my first and now second child - but don't mistake my luck for ease.
Breastfeeding is hard work and doesn't JUST HAPPEN after you give birth - it takes work, work I put in and was thankfully rewarded with milk for my babies. From handling my breasts like hamburgers at an All You Can Eat, Hamburger Eating Contest to aggressively massaging them to kick start (then later to increase) my supply - easy is the absolute LAST word I would ever use to describe breastfeeding.
That being said, here are a few breastfeeding products that I love (some I used with my firstborn, but most with my second):
The LaVie Warming Lactation Massager is pretty awesome, and in my opinion is best used when you are engorged. It's the first milk expression tool that combines continuous warmth and vibration to improve milk flow, relieve pain, and save time when pumping.
By using the warming massage pads, You will:
Reduce clogged ducts
Cut pumping time
Empty more effectively
Improve flow and letdown (pumping or breastfeeding)
Another product from La Vie -- the LaVie Lactation Massager, it's a milk expression tool that helps improve milk flow and relieve pain caused by engorgement, plugged ducts and other breastfeeding symptoms BUT the best part is it's WATER PROOF mammas - so you can use it during a hot shower or bath! It's unique shape and multiple vibration modes, combined with La Vie's step-by-step care plan, make the Lactation Massager the perfect tool to restore your milk flow.
Relief from plugged ducts and engorgement
Faster milk letdown
Improved milk flow
Increased pumping output
Empties the breast faster
Softens the breast for better latching
Full disclosure here - I used to drink 1 - 3 cups of this tea daily. The traditional herbs in this tea helped me with my breast milk production and promoting lactation; however, the tea's blend of fennel, anise, coriander also includes fenugreek. After learning about why fenugreek free products may be better for mom and baby - I decided to limit my use of the tea and admittedly noticed a difference in my baby's behaviour. Not only was she was less gassy but she also slept much better during the day for naps and at night.
These bras I found on amazon.ca did the trick when it came to comfort. They are wire-free and stretchy with adjustable straps. I also like the fact that they have removable breast absorbent pads to absorb excessive breast milk from nursing which kept my tatas clean and dry.
Earth Mama's Organic Nipple Butter is buttery AF, botanical-rich and lanolin-free. The result? It moisturizes dry skin - not just the nips and its a non-GMO Project Verified nipple cream so its safe for babies while nursing.
I used this cream for my nipples in the early days of nursing, but not so much now. I do however still use it on dry patches on my hands (hormones *rolls eyes*) because it really helps sooth discomfortable and take comfort in knowing that I don't have to wash it all off when handling baby A.
First thing is first with this one. Did you know that many insurance companies in Canada provide coverage for breast pumps(some may require a prescription from your doctor)? All you have to do is check with your insurance company prior to purchasing a pump to see if you are eligible for coverage.
Attention Ontario Residents: If you reside in Ontario, and are the mother of a premature baby, the Province of Ontario released new legislation in 2017 that provides coverage for breast pumps to moms of preemies.
Freestyle is Medlea's first hands-free, electric double pump that offers complete mobility for busy moms. It is an electric double breast-pump with 2-Phase Expression Technology is light and portable and it's rechargeable battery lasts 3 hours. I love this one because it does the job quickly and I can still do other things while I pump -- yay for multitasking!

I learned about his company from an instagram friend and immediately went and purchased a bundle in hopes of increasing my milk supply. While doing some research I was super pleased to learn that there were multiple options that had additional benefits than just increasing milk supply so here's what I choose (I've underlined the reasons for why I choose them below).
My "Build a Bundle":
1. First up, Lechita®. It contains a blend of organic ingredients designed to encourage the flow of breast milk. The fennel seed can optimize the quantity and quality of breast milk while other supporting herbs provide calming effects that may reduce stress and tension, prompting the milk letdown reflex. Anise and caraway are also traditionally used as digestive support for mom and baby.

Gassy Baby SIDE NOTE: This is the main reason why I added this one to the bundle and it truly makes a world of difference in reducing gas in my LO
2. Liquid Gold® contains a blend of powerful organic ingredients designed to optimize breast milk production. Goat's rue has a long-standing reputation for supporting a healthy milk supply in dairy animals and humans while milk thistle and shatavari are also traditionally used for added lactation support.

3. Pump Princess contains a blend of organic ingredients designed to optimize breast milk production and support milk flow. Black seed has been used to promote healthy lactation in India and the Middle East for centuries. Fennel and dill are also traditionally used as a digestive support for mom and baby.
